MOD 1 Firearms Custom Built Glock 43

In this video we show off our new custom Glock 43 built by MOD 1 Firearms. This was a great shooting little handgun when we first got it and started testing it, but now it’s absolutely amazing! What? You don’t believe me? Well, listen to this…while we were out visiting our friends over at Homeland Guns, we decided to see just how far we could push our new custom Glock 43 that we had just picked up form MOD 1 Firearms. Our friend officer Yeti volunteered to be the one to take on the insane task of shooting three targets all in a row without any misses. The steel silhouette targets were placed at three different distances. Continue Reading

Glock 43 First Look Video

Today we take you along with us for our first trip to the range with the newly released Glock 43 single stack 9mm. The Glock 43 is a gun a lot of us have been waiting years for, especially since the release of pistols like the M&P Shield and the XDs. On our way to the range we stopped and picked up a few different varieties of 9mm ammo for the test. The little 43 ran like a top as far as reliability goes, didn’t have one single malfunction all day. We even got last round hold open on every magazine. The weapon is a little snappy on recoil, but that is to be expected given the size and weight of the handgun. Continue Reading

The New Sig MPX, It’s Not Perfect

We had a chance to take the new Sig Sauer MPX out for a workout the other day. At first glance we were in love with the MPX. The pistol looks to be well made, with it’s all metal construction and buttery smooth action. What can we say? This thing looks great! The Sig MPX comes in a very nice hard case with cut out foam that fits the gun and included accessories perfectly. The Sig handgun also comes with the new Sig SBX Brace on a folding adaptor that is already attached to the gun. The MPX also includes a sling, three 2″ aluminum rails and a full cleaning kit, very nice touches in our opinion. Continue Reading

CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 First Shoots

Here are the first shots with the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1. The EVO 3 S1 is a pleasure to shoot other than the really uncomfortable ambi safety. You get a lot for your money with the CZ Scorpion. If you are looking for a great shooting fairly priced gun of this type, this is probably it. This is a fantastic weapon at a great price when compared to similar guns on the market. Our only concern right now is making this gun into an SBR (short barreled rifle) and 922R compliancy, as CZ is not bringing the factory Scorpion stocks into the country until the ATF responds to a decision letter summited by CZ on whether or not the Scorpion has to meet 922R standards. We will be talking about this more in the future. If you would like to know more about the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Check out their website here for more information: http://cz-usa.com

CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Pistol

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Pistol is a much anticipated new offering from CZ USA. The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is a semi automatic pistol version of the CZ Scorpion EVO A1 submachine gun. The MSRP on the S1 is $850 not too bad when you compare it to other offerings of this type. The CZ Scorpion ships with two 20 round magazines, a bore snake, lock, and sight adjustment tool. CZ dose offer 30 mags for the gun but at the time of this article they are very hard to find in stock. MSRP on the 30 rounders is only $19.99 now compare that to some of the other mags on similar guns and and the Scorpion starts to really look good! A set of really nice metal sights also comes on top of the Scorpion, seems like most companies forget to include those anymore. Continue Reading

Barrett 82A1 Semi Auto 50 BMG

We had a great time out shooting the Barrett 82a1 semi auto 50 BMG with a few of our friends and one of our favorite sponsors, Paul from Gear Head Works. The Barrett 50 cal powerhouse was so smooth and flawless in its operation, it is just a joy to shoot. So many people are scared to death of the 50 BMG round due to its massive size and reputation. But, if you have ever shot one you already know that it’s really not that bad especially when being fired from the 82a1. It just soaks up so much of the recoil with its dual barrel springs and bolt spring system. If I were to compare it to something it would probably be like a 12ga firing a 3″ slug. Continue Reading
